My tri buddies!
Well it was kind of a triathlon. It was so cold and rainy (yes it is the end of May and there was snow half way down the mountain this morning) they canceled the swim. So we did a run/bike/run (not ideal for the girl who struggles with running). All and all it was a great experience and way fun!

Laura and I have been training together. It has been so much fun spending time together and having this goal. She is so supportive. I couldn't have done it without her. She did AWESOME! (her chain came off and I still didn't catch her!)

My overall time was 1:32:29
I took 284/597
I have LOTS of room for improvement. I learned a lot ... can't wait for my next or should I say REAL triathlon!

Thanks to my mom for coming out on this cold, wet morning to support and take pictures. So fun actually having someone at the finish line for you!

MEGAN!!!
I first met Megan when we became visiting teaching companions. I simply adore her. She is moving to Texas this summer and it makes my heart ache just a little to know that her and her sweet family is will be gone. I wish them the best of luck. I have been blessed having Megan in my life!
