Will it be you?

The picture did not turn out very well ... not doing this piece justice. It is "satin speckled" with a "midnight sky" rim. It's a beaut! A perfect salad bowl.

Do you want it? I would love for you to have it! Leave a comment and I will pick a name in a couple of days.

It's Magic

It really is magic, opening the kiln after a firing.

Short lived ...

Well my time in the nursery was short lived. Today I was called into the Young Womens program in my ward. I am excited for this adventure. I am going to actually admit that I might, maybe, kinda am going to miss some of those kids.

For the Bounty ...

I sure do love Bountiful Baskets!
I love having lots of fresh produce at hand. I love that the produce comes from local farmers (when available). I love that they support small farms. I love that by purchasing Bountiful Baskets I am reducing my footprint. I love trying new things.

Just thinking about ...

1. I sure do LOVE not working!
2. This makes me smile. I am giddy for Spring!
3. The Carl Bloch exhibit at BYU is fantastic.
4. I do NOT like having a migraine. Yep it does still happen occasionally.
5. I ran 3 miles today and it was hard .. still!
6. I am REALLY good at not working!
7. I think I might chop my hair.

Miracles

This last weekend my cousin Anne was in town. Anne was diagnosed with stage four cancer last summer. Her diagnoses was grim to say the least. We held a family fast, prayers for her recovery were constant. She is now 7 months cancer free. Why am I writing a post about this? (I hope she doesn't mind) As I sat talking to her Saturday night about her journey I knew that she was a miracle. Our Heavenly Father had heard our prayers and that she was sitting on the couch having that conversation with me because of that miracle. This life, our individual journeys are not easy, but our Heavenly Father is very aware of each of us and miracles really do happen. It was a very humbling moment. We continue to pray for Anne. I have no doubt that great things will come from Anne's example. They already have.
