As I watched the debate last night I thought .. how about that Obama!
I find that man downright scary! Is there anything he does not want to regulate or control? He leads the polls! Do people just not get it? Are they not capable of running their own lives? Are they simply tired of making their own decisions? Do we really have a nation of people who just want someone else to "take care" of them? Well I for one do not want the government regulating and controlling every aspect of my life. I am quit capable of controlling my own life and I would like to keep it that way! I don't want to live in a Socialized country thank you very much!

amen, sister! gosh, i can't hardly stand to watch him! he reminds me so much of some other politicians that i hate! smooth talker, but no experience to back it up! yikes, we better pray for this country if he gets elected!
thank you! it is nice to hear someone who sees the same thing i do. he is creepy and scary and i am fearful of the next four years if he is elected.

I immediately knew that he was cheating with you so I of course started questioning him.
It was a weird dream. I must be secretly really jealous of you!
well not to burst all of your bubbles..but obviously our citizens have not done a very good job regulating themselves...nor has our business community hence recent bail out...i am not typically a democratic voter in fact never...but i say wouldn't you want the smartest man (by the way most intelligent candidate in the last 50 years)to lead..on top of the simple fact that if mccain were to die..do you really want to leave our country in the hands of palin? talk about no experience....come on people wake up!!!

Obama is so "intelligent" it scares me to DEATH! All I have to say about your post is AMEN! and it bugs the crap out of me that people say "lds don't do their research. They just vote republican" Bull *!!( Too bad we live in utah where our vote doesn't "really" matter much.

Since the public is only talking about the economy--what else do people know about Obama?
Let's see.... Obama's positions. Abortion-
for abortion, for late term abortion, favored a woman's right to an abortion based on the sex of the fetus. Opposed to Dr.s giving medical care to a fetus that survives abortion. Opposed to Dr.s contacting parents of an underage girl requesting abortion.
2nd Ammendment-
Favored ban on sale of handguns. Sponsored amendment to ban almost all rifle ammunition (for hunting & sport shooting)
Voted against legislation that would have allowed homeowners to use an affirmative defense when they use firearms to defend themselves and their families against home invaders and burglars.
Supported order which would allow convicted felons the right to vote. While he opposed legislation designed to safeguard the votes of our military personnel.
Energy-
Opposed to drilling in ANWR
Supports tax increase on fossil fuels. (85% of U.S. energy comes from fossil fuels)
Opposed to U.S. drilling for oil 50 miles off our shores.
Said the current Supreme Court is too Conservative.
Wants--
-Universal health care, including care for 12 million illegal immagrants.
-Free college tuition
-Universal National Service
-Universal 401ks in which the gov would match contributions by low and moderate-income families.
-Wage insurance (to supplement dislocated union workers' old income levels
-Free child care and Universal preschool.
-Force sex education in public schools, including kids as young as five and six.
-More subsidized public housing
-A fatter earned income tax credit for the "working poor."
-A Global Poverty Act for Third World-first and foremost Africa.
-Implement sweeping environmental regulations which will raise the cost of gas, groceries, heating, and air conditioning.
-Ensure that economic justice is served. (Huh?) Not much of a free-capitalist!
-Restore fairnes to the economy (socialism)
Impose goals and timetables for minority hiring on corporations whose work force is deemed too white.
How is he going to pay for all of this?
Obama IS-
considered the MOST LIBERAL member of the senate.
Touted as the most "progressive" candidate and has received endorsements from the U.S. Socialst party, Communist party, Fidel Castro and many more radicals.
Yep, looks like the most intelligent candidate will make it into the white house. Because most Americans have forgotten what it means to be free!
