Do you ever wonder ....

Have you ever been driving down the road and thought about all the people in the cars around you? As you drive up to a stop light looked at the person in the car next to you have you ever thought .. who are you? where have you just been? where are you going? are you a happy person? have you had a good life? what are you thinking about? are you content? Would I want to be any of those people? I often glance around when I am stopped at an intersection and think ... would I want to trade places with you? Nope, probably not. I don't think I would want to trade lives with very many people. I just can't help but wonder who all those people are in all those cars. Don't you wonder about that person in that car next to you? I do.

BFF weekend 2

How spoiled I am getting! Two weekends with Beckie so close together. The timing could not have been better either. I had had one of those weeks where life decided to throw me a curve ball ... and one that I didn't see coming at all! So having my best friend in town was just what I needed. You see when Beck comes to town it is a party! We had almost the entire gang together for pedicures and manicures. Those that couldn't join us for spa time joined us at my house for lunch.
Of course we did our usual ... shopping, dinner and a movie ... with lots of treats! We even got Shan to join us.

I am often mentioning how great my friends are. But this weekend I was especially grateful for my friends. I am so blessed to have this incredible group of girls in my life who are the truest example of girlfriends! I dearly love them! Thanks girls for all your love, support and prayers!

BFF

My annual winter trip to Denver to visit Beckie was yet another great trip! How could it not be .. with *shopping, *pedicures, *lunch with the family, *dinner and *movies (two of them), lots and lots and lots of talking and laughing and more talking! I don't know that there is anyone else on earth I can talk to like I can Beckie. Beck taught me how to *make her homemade bread. We (I mean Beck) did my *taxes (is she a best friend or what!) Beck got me all decked out with some Bronco's gear. We ate SO many treats! And one of my favorite things to do with Beckie is to stop at a gas station and get a beverage and treats! It always taste better when I do it with Beckie. Another trip highlight was the purchase of my ipod shuffle! We had gone to the gym and I was using my big old ipod so when we HAD TO (the only time I go there) run into Walmart Beck talked me into using my teacher of the year award gift card (that I have had for 7 months) to purchase a shuffle. We tried to explain to the clerk why we were taking a picture .. he didn't care (he obviously doesn't blog!). My trip was way too short! Good thing she is coming to visit me this weekend! Of course we owe a BIG thanks to Greg .. one of the greatest husbands I know. Our best friends weekends would not be possible without him. Thanks Greg!

How lucky I am to have a best friend like Beckie! These weekends are priceless and something I truly treasure.
